It explores social and political stereotypes in recent Romanian history, celebrating women's resilience and their journeys back to their roots. The collection highlights traditional "women's work" through exquisite Romanian craftsmanship, including fine lace crochet, intricate embroidery, and meticulously crafted goods. Inspired by her Romanian upbringing and UK experiences, Ispas blends traditional Romanian techniques with contemporary practices. Her work, influenced by post-Communist life and the importance of mending and repurposing, emphasizes sustainable craftsmanship using repurposed and sustainably sourced materials. This collection bridges cultural gaps and invites a deeper connection to rich traditions and histories. Re Makeup I crafted a dramatic aesthetic with a bound face technique with nylon that distorted the skin, highlighted by vibrant accents and floral embellishments. The red-glossed lips, stretched and flipped, deepened and evolved throughout the shoot, symbolizing the complex and ever-changing roles women navigate online daily in their pursuit of beauty ideals. The black wig featured a blunt cut and raw, unrefined shape, emphasizing a deliberately unpolished, anti-glamour aesthetic. Drawing Cabaret Couture (DCC Studios ) team gathered International Fashion illustrators who came together to reimagine Alina Ispas's innovative designs. With poses ranging from 3 to 15 minutes, artists delved into haute couture fashion drawing during a 2-hour session enriched by curated set design, lighting, and evocative soundscapes.

Evoking her childhood fear triggered by a crashing wave, the all-black collection uses diverse fabrics, textures, and techniques to convey sensations of wetness and choking. Geometric shapes symbolize confinement, while Elizabethan ruffles suggest gasping for air. Highlights include a corset resembling frozen water, crafted from epoxy resin and lightweight fabric, and a leather bodice molded to appear as if clinging to the skin. Born in Rimini, Italy, Arianna nurtured her creativity at Liceo Artistico Alessandro Volta Federico Fellini in Riccione and the University of the Arts London (UAL), specializing in fashion pattern cutting. Her final project, “Strait,” showcased at UAL, merged technical precision with artistic expression. Drawing Cabaret Couture (DCC Studios), a London-based production team, specializes in high-fashion films and editorials streamed from their East London studio, DCC Studios. They host weekly haute couture fashion illustration life drawing classes and fashion photography workshops, enriching their offerings with immersive art events. Collaborating seamlessly with fellow creatives, Astrid Kearney Makeup Designer, created bespoke eye pieces from black feathers and timeless glass Swarovski crystals, complemented by a monochrome makeup and mouth accentuated with a bold black outline. Marie Sutter’s stunning photography captures the essence of the collection, set against Matthew Laurence sculptural backdrop, enhancing the narrative of confinement and artistic expression in Arianna’s work.
