RAY CHU’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection transitions from oceanic waves to solid ground, drawing inspiration from the floral landscapes that bloom when drift plants reach the shore. The Crinum asiaticum flower, a symbol of resilience and wisdom in Taiwan’s indigenous culture, takes centre stage. Discovered by the designer during a summer jog, this flower embodies nobility, beauty, and strength, reflecting the brand’s ethos. Using 3D printing, the collection highlights the flower’s form and adds depth to the designs. Discarded wires are deconstructed and reassembled to symbolise new life, with the 3D-printed flowers serving as a bridge between nature and brand identity. The colour palette centres on RAY CHU’s signature fiery red, paired with icy yellow, black, white, and neutral tones. The collection features practical yet playful silhouettes, from misaligned blazers to flared mini skirts and flowerpot-inspired dresses. Fabrics include recycled fish scale textiles, water chestnut yarns, and natural fibres, blending commercial appeal with innovative design. PR @dyelogpr
