GR10K  unveils its Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, reimagining the boundaries of fashion presentation by merging art and experimental music.

Titled Strident Syntax, the bold showcase transforms the austere main hall of a school into a contemplative stage, chosen for its stark literalism. Here, the collection finds its voice through a profound meditation on 15th-century chanson, brought to life by 12 classical chant students.

The non-linear vocal performance weaves Clément Janequin’s compositions with popular European chansons, reshaped through contemporary performance techniques, electronic drones, and archival recordings from Mark Rothko's estate lawsuit GR10K   following the artist's death.

GR10K's FW25 collection embodies its core values: creating garments designed to work within modern production systems. These pieces, often labeled as workwear, meet commercial standards while addressing fashion's broader convergence.

The collection draws inspiration from the raw, fragile beginnings of avant-garde movements that shaped contemporary culture. Referencing "Der Blaue Reiter," GR10K continues to explore artist collectives and historical events pivotal to art history. Workwear and functional clothing have long been staples for painters, sculptors, and artists—serving both as practical attire for their art and uniforms for their day jobs.
