The SoEdited project was inspired by embracing a simpler way of being. It comes at a time where we are editing down our history for our future selves to grow positively; Or just to have an insight of how to create a more fluid streamline and refined narrative.
This is apparent on a person objective to life, with the hustle hassle and confusion we are thrown into when we emerge from our parents, up until that point were we recognise we would like to and find is necessary to edit our lives across all manners of the life we live.
Founded by a team of professional creatives who have worked together (and separately) in the media and creative industry for many years, we were seeking an outlet to showcase a less confused and cluttered approach to materiality, the way we live, eat and to life its self.
Conceived over a (vegetarian) lunch, with some wine, where we were brainstorming what we wanted to achieve, the term ‘edit’ kept cropping up, so after a few revisions, SoEdited was adopted.
SoEdited is a community directed around the editing of everything. From what we eat and drink to personal style, our interior and home life. Where we choose consciously to travel, to how we travel and everyday consumerism. The clothes we wear, books we read and films we watch.
We want to showcase a version of what we believe is an edited, more conscious and better way to live, what needs and desires we have, what serves us well, and will also serve the community around us better where ever possible.
It’s about the quality of what we want in our life materialistically.
The places we live, visit, the items we hang on our walls, the chairs we sit in, the cafes and restaurants we go to, the space we call home and the community and work we inhabit.
SoEdited is about becoming more of what is right for you on a conscious level, rather than a hypnotised mass consumer of what is force upon us.
It’s about more aspiration towards a grounded way of approaching daily life.
SoEdited can only suggest items, content and lifestyle choices; But we would like to think with the wealth of professional, creative and spiritual experience we have developed, coupled with the number of years embracing different cultures and continents, that we can offer something aspirinational and achievable for the lifestyle we all deserve and desire.
