Fashion Director: Joseph Toronka
As the Lead styling tutor on The Study abroad programme at The London College of Fashion, I have been fortunate over the years to work with international students spanning the globe. The module was developed to create a programme that provided our students with the requirements needed for an industry specialised course. The importance was on developing their basic industry knowledge, understanding the process requirements of producing varied creative imagery and practical experience by producing a fashion editorial with the responsibility of assembling a creative team and styling the shoot. It was on this programme that I met with Mara and her creative potential was evident for me.
Having adapted this course also online, with many students now studying partly at home across the globe. The projects have now been arranged to work as both team based, and also organised to be a solo effort with much success to date.

SO EDUCATED - INTERNATIONAL LECTURERS
Like most during this period, Rogers has spent much time close to home. Fueled by the events around the world she's taken this opportunity to dive in to her latest underwater collection, Human. Drama, movement and light come to life in swirls of color, set against the darkness of night in Rogers' depiction of the strength and opposing vulnerability of humanity. With many public exhibitions closed indefinitely, she decided to release this collection online, one image a month, with complimentary outdoor installations around the world. The first being in London on the streets of the design district, with 20 foot outdoor images posted along the walkways. |
