Did you know that your genitalia absorbs 100% of the chemicals and toxins in your underwear which is one of the contributors to cancer? Article: Christopher George Well that got your attention didn't it! Wolf + Rose is a powerfully green range of intimates for men and woman which has been dreamt, designed and developed in Malibu California. Jeff and his creative team (Olivia and Matt) are launching a Kickstarter campaign on August 4th which will give readers an opportunity to join their new fashion movement and make a difference to the way people think about putting natural fabrics on their most intimate areas. The team are looking to raise a modest $15k which will go towards the first stage of their latest line of intimates. Wolf + Rose is made from plant based fibers and dyes, everything is free from toxins, carcinogens and other harmful chemicals. Kickstarter exists to help bring creative projects alive and has successfully funded 185,021 projects since its launch, with 32,083 of these being fashion. Founded by Jeff Garner of sustainable design house Prophetik, Jeff believes that the most important non-toxic garment should be your underwear, as it has the closest, most intimate connection to your body.
Wolf + Rose was created after Jeff lost his Mother to breast cancer in November of 2019. Your skin is your largest organ and chemical absorption rates through this vary, however your genitalia can absorb 100% relative of the chemicals in your panties, boxers, bras, jockstraps, skivvies, you name it. So, unless you’re wondering this earth the same way you arrived (or happened to have snagged a pair of Wolf + Rose intimates already) you are essentially wearing a blanket of toxins. Sadly, many brands utilize toxic fibers and dyes which contain harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, TDI, and dioxin. These chemicals leach into our skin and are the leading culprits of prostate and breast cancer. Wolf + Rose are truly unique, each garment is constructed solely form GOTS certified organic cotton, hemp, plant-based dyes, and organic cotton natural rubber for their boxers. This construction allows for superior breathability and natural fabric properties while diminishing the risk of the absorption of dangerous chemicals through the skin. This is not an off the shelf product, hundreds of hours were spent developing this into a one of a kind fabric. Alongside Jeff, Olivia Corwin the Chief Sustainability Officer and Matt Shubin, Ambassador of Ethos invite you to join their movement to bring their non-toxic garments to the world. Wolf + Rose
