Never mind that we are in the midst of lockdown- the optimists amongst us will be dreaming of the long summer beach days, that are just around the corner. And when they come, every body deserves to be covered up in something special. 

Tucca Swim was established in 2018 by sisters Helaina and Chloe Thomas. With lazy summer holidays spent in Mallorca surrounded by the beauty and nature of the island, the girls have taken inspiration from idyllic island for the prints on their swimwear and cover ups. 

The collection began with a signature style of an interchangeable bikini top and bottom, known as the Multiway Bikini - the perfect addition to a pro-travellers carry on case!

As well as looking petty, and being super practical, Tucca Swimwear is super eco-friendly - made from ECONYL®, a regenerated and recycled nylon made from waste such as plastic bottles, carpet flooring, landfill and marine debris, which is transformed into a super soft material.

Consisting of 78% recycled polyamide and 22% elastane, this clever new material has proven resistance to sun cream, chlorine and UV light – lasting 3 months longer than normal swimwear fabrics.

The pair believe that slow fashion should also translate to swimwear, where consumers only have to buy once and buy well per season. So it follows that the TUCCA collection is limited edition, with a limited range of styles and colours each year. "As consumers, you have so much power to change the world by just being careful in what you buy. We create small runs with an experienced London manufacturer as and when needed, this helps us achieve minimal wastage, along with our new pre-order approach in our Summer 2020 collection." 

Tucca Swim’s packaging is also minimal, biodegradable and plastic-free, ensuring that they are as sustainable as possible and provide a positive role in protecting the planet by encouraging you to think about what you buy.
